Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
The story of salvation begins with Adam and Eve’s separation from God. As the story unfolds, we witness the imperfect nature of humanity, but we also see that God’s faithfulness endures. From Abraham’s covenant to the flawed lineage of Jacob, God remains steadfast.
David emerges as a beacon of hope, yet human frailty persists, leading to darkness under the rule of kings and prophets. But then comes Jesus, a humble carpenter with lineage to David. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus triumphs over evil.
However, the story doesn’t end there. The serpent’s influence still lingers, underscoring the need for the returning Hero who will finally defeat evil and free humanity from its grasp.
This story is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is always hope. We must cling to our faith and trust in God’s unwavering love. Have you allowed Jesus to guide your life? You can overcome any challenge and triumph over evil with Him.
Heavenly Father, I am filled with gratitude that Jesus redeemed me from death and hell with His precious blood. After Jesus finished His work, He sat down at Your right hand, and even now, He is making intercession for me. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
