“There is therefore now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
The Bible tells us that Satan is an accuser of the brethren. The word devil in Greek actually means false accuser. He knows our sins, transgressions, and iniquities, telling us how terrible we are, hypocritical, and how we can’t be forgiven.
But remember, Jesus said that the devil is the father of lies. Because of this, we must fill our minds with God’s truth. Jesus said that the truth sets us free—so what is the truth concerning the sins in your life? The truth is, those sins, are as terrible as they were, have been nailed to the cross. Romans 8:1 tells us there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. All condemnation was placed upon Jesus, and He said, “It is finished!”
If you believe in Jesus, the same is true for you. So don’t believe the devil’s lies for another minute. We have freedom from shame in Jesus. Walk in the light with Him today and enjoy the beauty of His saving grace!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Lord, thank You for washing away our sins when we put our faith in Your Son. He took all our condemnation when He died on the cross and said, it is finished! So Lord, help us deal with the devil’s accusations by standing firm in Your Word. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
