“When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept.”
If you are experiencing grief or sadness, know that Christ shares in it. He understands what is happening inside and out because He has faced these circumstances personally. Give yourself permission to grieve without shame or guilt for how you feel now—there isn't anything wrong with these emotions. We read in John 11:35 that even Jesus experienced sorrow.
You are not alone. Jesus understands your pain and is deeply concerned for you. The Holy Spirit has come into this world to help you in your weakness, so you can experience life again through saving grace!
Jesus has been there for you at your lowest and will be there again. He understands how difficult trials can be. Sometimes you may want to give up on yourself or your faith, but remember that God has everything under control.
Dear Lord, I lift my voice to worship You, and only You. You are worthy of my heartfelt praise for all You do to heal and restore my life. Your love is the healing balm to all life's disappointments. Fill me with Your words of comfort and healing that I might be an instrument of Your love to all those I meet. Let Your warmth flow to me so that others see Your goodness through me. Thank You for this beautiful new day. Amen.
Sometimes we believe science doesn’t belong with Christianity, but science actually confirms Scripture. Here’s a testimony from an evolutionary scientist turned creationist.
