God renews our strength when we come to Him. Even in grieving, He gives us strength to serve. Caring for the needs of others brings healing.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Christmas can be the most joyful time for some and the most difficult for others. If you're struggling this season, we want to remind you of God's promise that He is close to the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit. He cares about every hurt you have and wants to sit with you in that pain. So whenever you need hope and healing, here's a prayer to help you trust in His promises.
Lord, we pray for those facing grief and loneliness this Christmas. We ask that You renew their strength and allow them to praise You even through their pain. Let us recognize the sacrifice You made for us, so we choose to care for others.
